BBS, STOP WORK and Hazard Observation Application with Cloud Computing.

Behaviour Based Safety:
Electronic BBS / Unsafe Act & Unsafe Condition reporting , Capturing Observations, Analyse Data and Take Actions.
BBS Module is developed in house by Quality and HSE department to enhance and sustain company and Fleet-level environmental, health & safety (EH&S) programs.
BBS card includes a Behaviour Observation Checklist, Hazard ID, Near Miss, and STOP WORK observations as well as R+ (positive recognition).
A Behaviour Based Safety program is intended to enable company employees / crew to record safety observations, most importantly, stopping of work that is unsafe.
Peer to peer method of coaching, counselling, and encouraging all employees to reinforce safe behaviour

BBS System:
  • Each vessel is provided with an inventory of BBS Cards;
  • A crewmember, contractor or visitor notices a hazard onboard the vessel and completes a card;
  • The completed card is handed in to a designated person onboard;
  • The Master verifies that the hazard is not actually a near miss or an incident;
Daily/ weekly/ monthly /Yearly Summary:
  • Hazard reported are circulated to fleet as a lessons learned to fleet,
  • Easy for profiling different hazards with different vessels, location and operations.
Stop Work Authority:

Stop Work Authority (SWA) is the right and duty of each employee to stop a job that is unsafe or that is felt to be unsafe. Any employee can shut down or suspend any job if it is thought that an unsafe working condition exists at any time or at any place. If you or any employee is in doubt whether any health, safety or environmental aspect of any operation is proceeding properly, it is your duty to stop the operation immediately until the condition can be improved or the doubt is resolved.
Stopping unsafe work prevents people from being injured and helps avoid accidents. company will fully support any good faith use of the SWA.
